In the first quarter of 2025, the top five personal finance budgeting and planning apps on the Android platform in Romania showcased varied performance metrics, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker started the quarter with a weekly revenue of approximately $401 and ended with $228. Downloads peaked mid-March at around 240, while weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 1.9K in late February before declining to 1.5K by the end of March.

Splitwise experienced a gradual increase in weekly revenue, reaching $215 in late February. Downloads were highest at the start of the quarter with 253, stabilizing around 140 by the end of March. Active users reached a low of 1.2K in mid-February but rebounded to 1.9K by the end of the quarter.

Fast Budget - Expense Manager saw revenue peak at $227 in the final week of March. Downloads started strong at 388 but declined to 47 by the end of the quarter. Active users decreased from 814 at the start to 493 by the close of March.

Spendee: Budget App & Tracker had a revenue peak of $206 in early February, with downloads peaking at 112 in mid-March. Active users increased to 443 by mid-March but fell to 348 by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Monefy - Budget & Expenses app showed a notable revenue increase to $207 in late March. Downloads were relatively low, peaking at 62 in early January, while active users declined from 2.1K to 1.4K over the quarter.
